Meet the Doctor: The Journey Behind StepUp and Sambhav
Founder-chairperson, Dr Madhvi Awasthi started her practice in 2001 as clinical psychologist. When she was inspired by one very unique child with special needs, this prepared her to direct her energy towards training students with very special needs and Sambhav was born in May 2011. Dr Madhvi Awasthi has dedicated her professional life to changing the lives of children with Special needs she strongly believe that all children has the right of educational environment, appropriate Instruction and therapy and with a team of highly devoted staff, have learn and thrive despite their challenges, Sambhav’s programs are based on that philosophy.
Established In 2011 at Rudrapur is run by voluntary organization rendering rehabilitative services to person with disabilities through a holistic approach of inclusive education ,Medical care, vocational training, Child guidance & counseling and self-employment i.e. Promoting the Rights of Those With Intellectual Disabilities

R.C.I Regd. Rehabilitation Psychologist
Madhvi Awasthi (RCI-A17417) is an RCI-registered Rehabilitation Psychologist with an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology. She specializes in drug de-addiction treatment, counselling, and rehabilitation, certified by NISD and the Government of India for IQ testing. She currently serves as the Clinical Director at Step Up Rehabilitation Pvt. Ltd., and is the Founder Director of the S.T.A.R.T. Institute, Rudrapur. Additionally, she holds the position of Secretary at Jan Kalyaan Avom Bal Vikas Sanstha (Regd.) and has formerly served as a POSH IC Member at TATA Motors, Pantnagar.
